Weekly Sunday Celebrations
Welcome to the weekly Sunday celebrations of the student church.
We always take a lot of time to sing worship songs and we have different speakers.
All Sunday celebrations are perfectly suitable for people without Christian backgrounds!!
English translation for our Sunday meetings is available whenever that is needed.
Time:
There will be tea at 14.45 and the service will start at 15.00. Come on time! The Sunday gatherings last until the end of the afternoon. Sometimes it lasts two hours, sometimes three, or somewhere in between.
Location: Hyacintstraat 34, Utrecht,
. (Note: the location may change soon, because the current location is sometimes too small for us. Baptism services are also at a different location. If you want to be updated on location changes, request the free e-mail info service about Sunday celebrations through Stay up to date.)
Directions: Hyacintstraat 34: Take bus 3 direction Zuilen and get off at bus stop “de Watertoren”. Walk on a bit in the direction the bus is going. Take the second street to the left, the Geraniumstraat. Then take the first left. That is the Hyacintstraat. Tea will be waiting for you at number 34.
All Sunday celebrations are perfectly suitable for people without Christian backgrounds!!
For some Christians with a more traditional background, however, it may be better to take the alpha course first before coming to the Sunday celebrations. The reason why is that some biblical elements, like praying for healing and prophesying, occur on a regular basis during our gatherings.
People without a Christian background are generally more open towards these things and are usually quite enthusiastic about it, but those with a more traditional Christian background often aren’t (yet). During the alpha course, the biblical grounds for many (so-called charismatic) topics like praying for healing and prophesying are explained, so you can get used to it.
If you do have a Christian background and you’re open for these things, it’s no problem of course to join in the Sunday celebrations right away. Welcome!
